The project is a full-service boutique hotel in a historic property in Borba. The development is a complete rehabilitation of an ancient convent with one of the most precious cloisters in southern Portugal. It will bring the Borba wine experience to a 5 star hotel, with a strong connection to the vineyards, a key element of the region.
It is designed as a boutique hotel with 55 hotel suites and 46 exclusive villas with plunge pools, a spa, an outdoor pool, a restaurant, a bar and indoor and outdoor event space.
Borba is a charming village in Alentejo, next to Spain, and stands out for being a center of two major economic activities in the region: the extraction of marble and the production of wines.
It was taken in 1217 by D. Afonso II and passed into the definitive possession of Portugal in 1302.
Borba is located in the Évora district, 2h30m from Lisbon.
